The 175 natals of the generation that conceived, projected and constructed Regaleira

Establishing an analogy between the order of time and the order of nature, between the time of men and the movement of the stars, the commemoration of ephemeris in the long duration that is memory, gains profound significance.
United by the year of their birth, 1848, three men raised Quinta da Regaleira. The commissioner owner, the architect and the master sculptor who directed the artistic endeavour, namely António Augusto de Carvalho Monteiro (1848-1920), Luigi Manini (1848-1936) and António Augusto Gonçalves (1848-1932).
This interpretative exhibition aims to systematise, in an eminently ideological and cultural way, the invisible threads that brought these three men together in a common destiny: Regaleira

In the context of this event, the three birth dates of these personalities will be marked with musical notes.
