THRONE
This piece was made in 1908-1912, in oak wood, by Júlio da Fonseca (1881-1952).
The upper part forms a canopy, decorated with vegetal motifs. On the central table (backrest), a biblical episode is depicted, based on Rafhael Sanzio's painting "The Marriage of the Virgin".

Intervention
Consolidation of all detachments and filling of existing gaps, followed by post-expurgation, localised and preventive xylophagous disinfestation, finishing the process with cleaning and application of natural bee waxes.
